Bruks call this a rechipper and its a bit different to the normal brush chipper. The 1300S model refers to the diameter of the disc which is 1300mm or 1.3 meters. Quite a big sort of a chipper and the intake is 340mm x 400mm.
It is a four blade machine which are adjustable to give a precise chip size.
Usually, it would be used as a secondary processor, following a big shredder, tub grinder or other large primary, but you can do what you like with it.
Its powered by a 37Kw 3 phase electric motor and it rolls over nicely with no rumbles from bearings or loseness. The blades are sharp and have plenty of meat left on them.
If you're in the hogger fuel/biofuel business this could be for you. I also have a tracked screener ready for this to fit into which would give closed circuit capability and enable already sized product from the primary to bypass the secondary.
